Description: This sharpener is suitable for both European and Japanese knives. With the two sharpening wheels, you can quickly get your knives back in top shape. Draw your knives through the wheels several times, starting with the coarser grit (1000). This sharpener cannot sharpen very heavily used knives that are already dull. For those, a sharpening stone with 240 grit is more suitable. Afterwards, you can hone the knife with the wheels.
