Before the Laguiole knife, there was the Capuchadou

Before the introduction of the Laguiole knife in the 19th century, French shepherds carried a knife called the "Capuchadou" (or "capujadou"). This knife was used for all daily tasks, from preparing lunch to tending to the sheep herds.

Fontenille Pataud is proud to reintroduce and reinterpret the predecessor of the Laguiole knife. The excellent quality of its craftsmanship makes this knife an ideal gift or purchase for all connoisseurs and collectors.
